So a new companion, a new doctor, and new aliens. I like the idea that a time traveller showing off, th every first thing he shows is the end of the world. Nice quirky ideas, like the character who has had so much cosmetic surgery there is literally nothing left. Just a thin skin face. The mystery of the Doctor is further enhanced by the tree character and her wooden instrument discovering that the Doctor was a time lord, thought to be a legend and extinct. I did not like the casual way the tree lady died. It was not necessary to the plot development.
